Mental Health Resources
OKAY Y'ALL-
I tend to talk about a lot of heavy stuff in my sundry COBL content ໒(ಥ‿ಥ)७✎▤
Due to that fact- I would like to offer some resources for you guys in the case that
you or a friend may need them. Some of these I have experience with,
others were suggestions from close friends of COBL.
Thanks for droppin' by~! Shit will get better. Pinky Swear.

Finding an Affordable Therapist:
Take it from me, therapy is pricey- but at the end of the day,
it is life altering stuff & absurdly worth the effort if you have
the spoons & finances for it.
Please Note: Open Path is a reduced fee therapist directory.
There is a membership fee.
However: it's a one time fee that allows access to other therapists
should you try someone out, not really vibe, & choose to switch.
The fee per session range is typically $40-$70
and you and your therapist discuss what is doable.

Why is Therapy in the States so Pricey?
Sweet jesus is therapy expensive.
Even at discounted rates it can be a bit too much to handle.
However, something I would like folks who are on the fense to consider (especially in the states) is that not every "cost effective" option
is a good option (lookin at you BetterHelp), & prices may be pricey to
ensure our healthcare pros get paid.
John Oliver did a SUPER great piece on this in 2022
if you have some time to check it out~
